2019 Golf R Price
2019 Golf R Price After a few years of magnitude, Volkswagen gave the Gulf revised front and rear ends for 2018. The changes included new headlights, radiator grille and taillights. With all that is still fresh, we expect the 2019 golf to carry a transfer. With its looks still new from the 2018 refresh, we expect the 2019 golf to remain visually identical to the current model. This lack of change will be inside and on its list of standard features, the 15-inch light alloy wheels, heated mirrors, a reversing camera, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a chilled glove compartment, a 6.5-inch touchscreen and much more.
Also expected to remain the same the under-the-skin bits. If this proves to be correct, the base engine will remain a 1.8-liter turbo four cylinder with 170 horsepower and up to 199 pounds-foot torque. Buyers can choose from a standard five-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic, but the former results in a lower torque rating of 184 pound feet. Volkswagen has unveiled the race-inspired Volkswagen Golf GTI TK (which stands for Touring car racing) at a Volkswagen festival in Austria. It is tilted to preview a new hardcore version of the GTI that is expected to go on sale in the next 12 months.

The Golf GTI TK is named after the TK-International Motor Racing Series, the championship for racing cars based on road models. As a result, the new model pumps a whopping 290hp. This is 60hp more than the GTI and only 20HP shy of the flagship golf R.
Unlike the four-wheel drive R, in the TK power is attached to the front wheels by a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential, which help make it sprint from 0-62mph in about six seconds flat compared to the standard GTI’s 6.4-second time. The temperature coefficient is limited to a 155mph maximum speed, but if that does not sound fast enough, you can pay extra to have increased the limit to 164mph. This makes it the fastest golf you can buy, only to the limited club Sport S, which is at 165mph.
Also on the temperature coefficient, if you feel particularly flush, are an optional titanium exhaust for extra zing that replaces the standard steel element, larger 19-inch alloy rims and lowered suspension, which between comfort and Sports settings can be adjusted. Luckily, not everything in the TK cost extra. It comes with more powerful brakes and rebuilt front and rear bumper ducts to help air more efficiently around the car.

Inside you will get supportive sports seats with bright red trimmings that give a modern twist on the traditional tartan pattern you get in the Standard GTI. This red theme continues on the dashboard, steering wheel, shift levers and doors, and even the seat belts come with red seam on each side.
VW has not confirmed if the TK will go on sale or how much it will cost, but you can expect to see it in showrooms in late-2018 or early-2019. Be prepared to put up about £30,000 for the parking on the driveway, but it is about £2,000 more than the standard GTI, but £2,000 less than the golf R.
Since there are no major changes, look for the 2019 golf prices to stay similar to the 2018 model EIA range from $22,860 to $25,605.
